Our program 'Restoring the Indian' is finally happening on Saturday, October 3rd at 3:00 p.m. We'll be set up in front of Story Tavern at 150 S San Fernando Blvd. Since your well-being remains our top priority, the event will be held outdoors to meet social-distancing protocols.

So what's the story behind our decision to hold the event in front of Story Tavern? The 1911 Indian Motorcycle that serves as the focal point of this program was actually donated to the museum by Ted Slaught of Story Tavern. Ted's gracious offer to provide the outdoor setting and refreshments for this exclusive event is part of a larger and much more interesting story about this fantastic piece of machinery. So please join us. Learn about the origins of this bike; its long journey to its present home; and what steps were taken to bring it back to its current state.
